chemistry question about oxidation and reduction...
I'm trying to finish up my chem homework and I'm stuck on a question...it's phrased annoyingly so I can't wrap my head around it for some reason.

The gist of it is...
If A is a red substance and B is a green substance and a solution is made of the two, the substance changes from red to green which one is oxidized? It's A right? and B is reduced

I had to re-read the damn thing like 5 times before I even knew what they were asking. It's just been one of those days for me

1. All I can remember is OIL RIG
Oxidation is loss (of electrons), reduction is gain (of electrons). I don't what that would do to the color.
