Something amazingly good happened today!
This morning, the s.o. finally walked away from the job from hell with the neocon born-again nazi boss, and into a new job with cool projects, cool coworkers, benefits, and, oh, a 40% pay increase.

On the s.o.'s birthday, no less. :D

The resignation letter was ONE sentence: "leaving to pursue other opportunities outside this company."

I'm so proud I can barely stand myself...so I thought I'd share the good vibes.

Our feeling of relief is palpable. We may actually get to find out what a normal life is like...starting with not having to carry a tape recorder in one's pocket every time one is summoned to one's boss' office. :hug:
