17. I was camping....
Woke up sleeping face down on the ground far away from the camp site....

I stumbled up and actually went blind for about three minutes....

For the rest of my drinkin' days, I never touched anything clear again...

Unless, of course, they were out of everything else....

Then....

All bets are off...

11. Orange gatorade
I had pneumonia, was chiking down as much gatorade as I could because I was badly dehydrated as I was throwing up like crazy because of the antibiotic I was on, which it turned out I was allergic to. Orange gatorade is nastier coming up then going down, but only slightly. If I never see a jug of that dreck again, I'll die happy.

16. Oh yuck!
The illest I've ever been was when I was on an antibiotic for a staph infection. My son was on amoxicillin the other week for bronchitis, and it was only the second time in his life (he's almost eight) that he'd ever been on an antibiotic. Luckily, he tolerated it well.

The medication I take makes me very dehydrated. So I drink a lot of Gatorade, The medication also makes me very naseous. So I throw up a lot. Orange Gatorade is a two for one special - going down and coming up.

If I never see a sink full of that crap again, I,too, shall die happy.

I've been unable to eat scrambled eggs for almost a decade, after biting into a piece of egg shell the last time I had them. For some reason, it just exceptionally repulsed me, and I can't stomach them anymore.

My brain, btw, is headed for the toilet, as I'm well into my third glass of wine and I slept all day, so I'll be wide awake half the night too.

41. Tuna hoagies from my local grocery store
The last time I threw up was February 2003. I bought a tuna hoagie from the grocery store, and the next day (it was Saturday, thank God) I awoke with massive diarrhea. I kept making frequent bathroom trips throughout the day, but later on in the day I got nauseous. I eventually threw up, and it tasted just like the tuna hoagie I had the night before. I won't buy hoagies from the grocery store anymore.
Before that, the last time I threw up was when I was around 12 years old, and it was right after eating a bowl of Super Golden Crisp cereal. I haven't abandoned Super Golden Crisp, but I also haven't had it in a real long time.

45. Jagermeister and Mu Shu Pork
The first (and last) time I had both at different times in the evening. It was my last day at work about thirteen years ago. I was moving to another town to take a better job, and my coworkers took me out for a huge party. I worked 2nd shift (3-11pm), and we only had two hours of bar time before last call.

Needless to say, everybody brought me shots, and I bet I drank at least 13 in 1.5 hours. I was sick for 48 hours afterward, and my mom almost hauled me to detox, but she couldn't get me to stand up.

horrible stuff.

78. Tequila and milk
Although not together.

In high school I spent the afternoon in our pool drinking straight shots of tequila. Drank the whole bottle. Then spent the whole evening puking my guts out. I did learn the meaning of true friendship, though - someone who will hold your hair back while you vomit. But now even the smell of tequila makes me feel sick.

Milk - worst thing you can throw up. It curdles in your stomach because of stomach acids, so when it comes back up..... Ugh! My mother recently wasn't feeling well and had a glass of milk to calm her stomach. Then threw it up. Her take on it - "It was awful! I'd rather go through childbirth again!" Me, well I laughed, "I told you so".

Khash.

A traditional must-do for New Years good luck, after several encounters in my youth I can't look at a jar without getting queasy. Nowadays I whip up some cerviche on New Years Day to substitute. Have not hit the Power Ball yet but I ain't dead.

Edit: quesey just didn't look right.

101. Liverwurst. Bad experience at an Octoberfest.
Some 30 years ago a friend and I went to the Lawrence MA Octoberfest. We got tanked and were munching on the complimentry liverwurst that was being passed around. My friend went to the restroom which was right by our table. Upon exiting he made a comment to a dude wearing a german hat with a feather in it. Called him Pinochio and a fight ensued that I had to jump into. His buddies were beating on my buddy. Well...the cops came and hauled us all downtown where the filhy and crowded condition made my stomach churn out the beer anf liverwurst.
I can still remember the taste in my mouth to this day. Havent touched the stuff since.

107. Bourbon
In high school, I polished off a fifth of Old Crow one night, and got rid of it all the next morning. I felt so bad that I literally asked God to let me die, rather than letting me go on feeling the way I did. I've been a scotch-and-martini man ever since, and in pretty restricted amounts, at that......

All due to an unfortunate party in the mid-90s and an alcoholic cocktail from hell that was served in a lined garbage can. It was the night Princess Diana was killed, and I was convinced that the whole thing was some staged publicity stunt designed to improve CNN's ratings.
