Am I evil for doing this?
I keep buying feeder guppies for my Chrysonotus (African Cichlid, the Cobalt Blue)?

30+ at a time and watch the fish go nuts.

Even mixing in the live yummies with their favorite veggie food, for a mostly plant-eater (ort so I was told) they really do prefer eating meat...

1. i don't know if you are wrong for doing it
but it dont think i could. i remember when i was little we had a beta fish and it kept eating other beta fish everyone we would get a new one so the guy at the pet store told us there was one type of fish it wouldn't eat, so we got it. i'm not sure what type of fish it was, but it was atleast two times the size of the beta fish, but that didn't stop rosie(the beta fish) from eating it.

6. Update - the cichlids ate them ALL last night!
:wow:

Usually they last up to 3 days before being devoured. :cry:

Still, they seem happier.
