Poll question: How long from when you get up, 'til you're out the door in the morning?
On the average day, not considering emergencies etc.

1. I start work at 4 am
So I shower the night before. When I get up, I wash my face, brush my teeth and hair and I'm out the door. If my hair wasn't so long, I'd be in the under 15 minute category.

2. I get up at 4 am to be at work by 6 am
and I leave as soon as I can as the drive is at least 30 minutes. (an 11 mile drive takes so long that I...*grumble, grumble*):hi:

3. My drive is 19 miles one way with the worst part....

...being the 3.5 miles from or to my house. It takes an average of 9 - 11 minutes to go 3.5 miles versus it taking only 15 minutes to travel the remaining 15.5 miles.

5. Threre is something about my needing instant gratification
that makes that sound so wrong. I have issues with driving now that I never used to have. I some times think I'd be better off walking. (not really, but you know)

7. I hate driving in town
I don't mind a long road trip but I will put off a two mile trip to the store. I hope to live in a small town where I can ride a bike or walk to everything when we (wife and I) retire.

8. My clock is set fast
My alarm goes off at 5:30 a.m. I get up in the next 10 minutes. Then I head to the shower. I get dressed. I take the dog out. I eat breakfast. I leave when my alarm clock says 6:30 a.m. in order to be at work by 6:30 a.m. (I told you that it is set ahead.) Now that it is getting light earlier and the roads don't have ice on them, I should be biking but I have this irrational fear that my bike would get stolen or that the weather would be bad when it came time to come home.

14. At least 45 minutes...
...including morning ablutions, petting four cats and walking three dogs. If I'm lucky, I squeeze in breakfast, too.
