Help! Does anyone have a Tempur-Pedic bed, or know

someone who does?
We are looking at buying one, we really need a new bed. But before spending that much money I thought I would get some input from others who might have first hand knowledge of how good they are.
I have to say it felt wonderful to lay on.

Okay, now in seriousness: I bought a matress topper for my old matress. Works like a dream and not as pricey as a full mattress.

The buggers are heavy as heck though, so beware when buying one...

I love it. My wife has been less enthusiastic, but since she's been pregnant and is sleeping on her side rather than her back, she now loves the bed.

It still feels the same as when we first got it.

You do not feel any movement from your partner, so, if your SO is tossing and turning, you remain blissfully unaware.

It is firmer when it is cool and softer when it is warm, but it still molds itself to your contours.

I used to wake up with neck pain, the bed has made that disappear.

My wife also wakes up without any pain and or stiffness - but she's a Yoga Teacher......

We've taken the pillow that came with the bed and put it in storage, neither of us cared for it.

You do not get sweaty from the bed conforming to you, the bed breathes.

The mattress is heavy, but you will never need to rotate it.

It feels way too soft when you first lie down, but as the foam adjusts to you, the bed becomes firm.

The down side is that there is NO BOUNCE to the bed, so if you like the bed to bounce during non-sleep activities, you know, get a little help from the springs, you're out of luck. You will find ways to solve this problem though.......

I don't think the lack of bounch will be a problem since we now have a waterbed (no bounch there).
