I gotta go. I don't give a rat's ass about the Oscars.
So there's nothing of interest for me here tonight.

1. Bro, I'm sooooo with you there.
Though there are tidbits here and there of interest. Just not of Oscar fare.

2. That's odd. Reese Witherspoon mentioned you by name.
What do you know that we don't know?

7. Once again, you and I and flvegan find ourselves in a group apart.
Except that I'll have that Reuben for lunch. And you two won't.

5. Heya :)
We watched the first 10 minutes to see Jon Stewart. After that, I'm with you about not caring. If you hide all the Oscar threads, though, you get some semblance of a 'normal' (ha!) Lounge :)

:hi:

11. But who could hide them all without wearing out fingers?
Go to sleep, young lady; you have classes/work/motherhood in the morning.

14. LOL, good point
We have pre-school visitings to go to tomorrow, but not work, woo-hoo :) Had one hell of a weekend, glad to be done with it. I think I'll take your advice and have a go at that sleeping thing, though.

8. That's interesting.
Because The Oscars give a rat's ass about you. You do pay to watch movies. Must be something there.

How's that boosted C70 of yours doing, btw? Have you seen the S60 R yet?

15. Actually, we put the top down this afternoon; got our March top-down
day early in the month. Gotta do that one day each month in the year.

Yeah, saw the S60 type R. Drove it. Hot stuff, that car is. But we'll stick with Missy because of the roof factor; a couple of tenths to 60 aren't worth going to a closed car.

18. The new C70 has a retractable hard top..
I'm more of a hardtop kind of guy, but the few convertible hardtops I've driven are a compromise I can live with. Overseas, they've all but replaced soft-top convertibles with these even at the entry level.

I'd love to see Volvo start putting that Yamaha sourced V8 they use for their SUV in the next series of R models. I also wouldn't be surprised at all to see that 300hp R engine in the next C70R.

Ford should get on its knees each and every night and thank the heavens they bought Volvo. They are using its platform & engine technology in almost all their cars and it remains one of the bright spots in their PAG stratagem.

19. Amen. Ford is using Volvo right, unlike GM with SAAB. I'm buying one of
new C70s, as soon as I can drive one and confirm that there's enough room for me (I'm 6' 4" tall).
