Just out of curiosity, is Ang Lee a hetero dude? Since two of his movies

have prominent "gay" theme... Brokeback, and the excellent light comedy "The Wedding Banquet" which I highly recommend. It's about a gay couple, a white dude and a Chinese dude, who pretend to be "roommates", but when the Chinese dude's parents visit they make a whole pretend farce about the Chinese dude marrying some girl, and of course hilarity ensues. You just gotta see it.

Just wondering, is all.

Do you also believe Fred MacMurray really helped Barbara Stanwyck bump off her husband (Double Indemnity) or that Steven Spielberg really has encounters with UFOs, sharks, and the National Socialists?

Ang Lee, God love him, has made films about adultery in 1970s Connecticut (The Ice storm), love and marriage in Regency England (Sense and Sensibility), a Taiwanese family with culinary talent and raging (and decidedly heterosexual) hormones (Eat Drink Man Woman), and so on. I'm sure he takes his work seriously, but come on!
