Here is a Confession. I love Titanic. The Sound of Music reminds me
Edited on Mon Mar-06-06 05:58 AM by MrsGrumpy
of wonderful times spent with my grandfather. I bought "Forrest Gump" for my mother for Christmas because I enjoyed it so much. I wasn't on DU because MrG actually watched the Oscars with me last night for the first time in our 13 years together. And, I have to say, I think I'm glad. I might not meet the "criteria" to be a Member of the Academy...or even the copious amounts of "movie snobs". I just like movies. I always have.

The best part about last night? Getting to see Lauren Bacall....The worst? Seeing how much trouble she had...

Have a good week DU.

Ooooh! I almost forgot!!! I have my own well worn copy of "Gone With the Wind" :hi:

1. The Sound of Music is pure distilled genius
Gone with the Wind makes stiff-upper-lipped me nearly cry every time

I haven't seen the other two though...

Good morning Mrs. G. :hi:

3. Reasonably busy here....but not in a bad way.
We've had a couple of days with very cold night, but then very sunny days so out of the shade it actually feels quite warm.

Hope that you enjoy your beginning of spring.

4. I'm so glad we are past the worst of winter...at least I hope we are.
We've been known to have April blizzards...but we've had pretty decent weather this year for the most part. :)
