Of course, I did not see one new movie in 2005. However, I do read about films and movies in the entertainment sections of the paper. ;)

5. The best picture award was the only part of the Oscars that I saw live.
The audience looked stunned. Their jaws were hanging open. :wow:

9. don't feel bad. i saw it and have no recollection.
i know i saw it, but can't rememeber a single detail except that it had a big, ensemble cast, and that it was about racial issues.

14. I am anxious to see it. all i could think of was that cronenberg
flick based on the J.G. Ballard book about car crash fetishists starring James Spader and Holly Hunter from the 90's.

i think it would be hilarious if someone rented the j.g. ballard/cronenberg crash, about the eroticism of smashing oneself up in auto accidents, by accident instead of the new upstart crash, which i guess also has an auto accident in it now you mention it but a much more serious and socially responsible auto accident than the ballard version

Crash was a rumored Cronenberg project for many years, even before it became a reality. Certainly it had that sordid high-concept gloss to it, a Cronenberg trademark: underground community of sexual deviants gets off on car crashes.

hey jonnyblitz -- JINX we posted at the same time :-)

17. Its a great movie i
The way the story works is kind of like Traffic because it is many stories wrapped in to one. Matt Dillion really impressed me, I always see him as Pat Healy from There's Something About Mary but he did a great job in a dramatic role. It's a great movie and it really moved me with its story and the acting was great too.
