Okay I say we get rid of the month of March
Other than St. Pat's, what is good about March? I know, the first day of spring - when the weather is STILL shitty. So that doesn't count.

I hate March. No holidays, crappy weather, we are all sick of winter by now.

I love college basketball but March Madness doesn't start till way late in the month so it is more like April Madness.

The kids at school are always crazy in March and we start our NCLB tests at the end of the month. So the pressure is on. And the weather sucks - big time.

If we could just get rid of March it would all be so much better.

I think I will start a petition.

9. Oh I forgot the part about birthdays - sorry
People born in March can choose any other date for their birthday. So yes, you can still keep her :)

43. No no no! Let's just say that people born in March are ageless.
and, of course, they can have a party at any time. We will have to move Spring Break to April though.

2. You didn't mention how the kids around here
are constantly sick in March. Nothing like having a nearly 80 degree day drop into the 20s at night to make a kid sick fast!

And the late frost. Just when you think it's safe to plant your garden...

16. I remember you posting about that.
She had pink eye a couple of days ago. (Sunday was the first sign). I purchased some Similasin and the problem was gone in time for her to go to school on Monday.

She was sent home Monday afternoon because of a cough and again today.

21. I don't know but it sure is spreading to a lot of kids
and we have a couple teachers with it too. My good friend fought it for two weeks. She finally went to the doctor because she was coughing so bad she couldn't sleep. He gave her some cough meds so she could finally get some rest.

it can be 70 in February and then snowing in March. In fact, it snowed much of the day today. I bet it is still snowing.

We don't really get summer until July or so.

30. If we get rid of March
doesn't that leave us with 61 days of April, and
April is the cruelest month.
Either that, or it gets merged into February, eliminating not only
the uniquely shortest month, but also the only month which is logical - it is exactly four weeks long (except once every four years)

32. What I hate most are the strong winds.
I like most everything else about it, except waiting for spring to finally get here already. It's never really warm at night in March, so I don't know why they count it as a warm weather month. I like it when it is warm at night so I can sit outside and watch the bats swoop down and grab some of these 6,342,653,474 mosquitoes that seem to all live right over where I live.

march is women't history month(including international woman's day) and it's labor day in australia. There are lots of religious holidays that fall in march too.
