Poll question: Your favorite Minor League Baseball Team Name (from this list)
I swear, I am not making these up. On this page, in the upper left corner, just below "Stats" and "Statistics," there's a pull-down menu that'll take you to a page w/ the basics about the team, and usually a link to the team's official web site.

Some of these names just crack me up. From this list, my favorite is the Biscuits. :rofl:

(My favorite minor league team is the Bowie Baysox (Orioles' AA Affiliate), simply because I can go to their games.)

Is the Potomac Nationals (Single A affifliate of the Washington Nationals).

Get season tickets every year...

The Lansing Lugnuts — though the logo is a bolt, not a nut.



But what's with this Swing of Quad Cities crap? Quad Cities is famous as a minor league town, or towns. They deserve a better name than that.

And who knows why teams are named as they are. My team's name is completely redundant: Los Angeles Angels means "The Angels Angels." :eyes:
