I have'nt been able to sleep in 48 hours ... ask me anything .
My.body.will.not.fall.asleep. I am so tired but my body is so wired . This sucks .

Have you thought of taking an OTC sleeping aide, just to help you this one time to get to sleep?

I'm sorry you're having a bad time, CP. And look, I know we haven't talked a whole lot on DU, but I am giving you a sincere invitation -- please PM me if you need to talk, vent, cry, or whatever. You seem like such a wonderful person, and I hate to see you going through this crap.

You know, that icky feeling your brain gets after 24+ hours without sleep? That's the worst part, the brain crud. It's like acid buildup on your cerebellum. You can't think straight anymore because your brain feels icky.

8. You don't want what I got at all LOL .
The weather here is warm . And I want it to be COLD - I wasted money on all these sweaters and I want to strut in them ala Heidi Klum . I am so not ready to sweat . I think Sunday , its supposed to be 80 degrees . In March ? Weird weather . Loco El Nino .

We got rain, hail, wind and coldness... and snow down to like 2,000 feet. :scared:

At 3:30 today it was 44 — most unseemly for central Kollyforniya.

14. We need her back ...
because the police force here has a scandal . There was an organization within the police force itself that kept a secret black book on black police officers , keeping an eye on everything they did . The police chief denied any knowledge of it - he knew , he liked and resigned . Bunch of mess .

15. She was telling me about that
She had some background information from her sources at the PD and was talking about writing about it before she quit. It's possible that her editors didn't want her to write it, because such scandals put a lot of pressure on newspapers.

Now she's a CSI with the department. :rofl:

18. Me too. Tired, wired and not gonna get over the flu with complications
if I can't talk my bod into shutting down. Was really exhuasted at the beginning, then too misrable to sleep. Now wired but part of it is the meds they gave me. I'll have an atypical reaction to just about anything.

Gotta get some sleep... gotta get over this

She told me it was a panic attack and I finally got some sleep . About 8 hours worth of sleep .
