It doesn't get much better than that. My favorite part is when he takes a swim in the lake and he walks back to his mansion to find Elizabeth Bennet there... damn I love that movie.

The roles that I've seen him play don't really cast him that way, either. Why did you include him? Of course I'm a straight guy so I'm probably not the best judge.

who find him very sexy. Note, these aren't necessarily MY choices for sexiest men - I was trying to offer a spectrum of well known sex symbols/leading man types.

My sexiest would include Gregory Peck, Colin Firth but also Liam Neeson, Gabriel Byrne, Alan Rickman, Ciaran Hinds, Daniel Craig and a few others that aren't generally popular or well know sex symbols (therefore I didn't list my own favorites because I didn't think as many people would know who they were.)

He was charming, sarcastic, funny, confident, good heartedly cantankerous...and it didn't hurt to look at him, either.

Unfortunately, he didn't age well.

My trouble with the men in this poll is that while they are or were all hot at one time or another, and some for a long, long time, none of them have made a life-long career of exuding sex the way some of those on the female poll have.

Clooney comes closest to that. Depp is hot, but he rarely works it. Brando worked it in the early days. DeNiro did for a little while.
