Hey Denverites
Remember the March Blizzard of 2003? I remember well because that was also the time we started bombing Iraq with shock and awe. I was driving cab and negotiating the streets in all of that. What a crazy time.

1. Yep. We were snowed in for 4 days.
Our house faces north, and it drifted.

Worked from home, had the fireplace going, were comfy and happy.

Cats were happy, too.

2. Up in Conifer with nearly six feet.
The snow started Monday, by Wednesday we'd run out of beer. Finally got dug out Saturday evening. Kinda fun, except for the no beer part.

3. I'm in Minn now, wasn't there for 2003, but I well remember the........
.....infamous Thanksgiving Day blizzard of 82 and the equally infamous Christmas blizzard of 83. The whole city shut down during those storms.

I was also there for the September storm sometime between 93 and 96 that snapped so many power lines and left half the city without power for a few days to a couple of weeks. Do you all remember that. We ended up camping out in our house for two weeks without electricity. Our only contacts with the outside world all that time were a battery powered radio and the telephone.

Here in the Twin Cities we got 12" of the wet heavy white stuff last night and early today, with 20mph winds that gusted to 30mph. Yes, there ere blizzard conditions at times. I've always lived where there were heavy storms and blizzards periodically so this is no big deal.

Anyway, HELLO to everyone in Denver.
