What a great movie - "In Her Shoes"

Usually anything with Cameron Diaz in it has me looking for something else to watch. Outside of her great performance in "Being John Malkovich", I pretty much find her to be a frivolous actress in droll, useless movies.

But I opted to rent the movie because I'm a fan of Toni Collette and Shirley McLaine is also good for a movie. And it turned out to be a wonderful movie (kinda chick flickish). Toni and Cameron played sisters with Toni being the frumpy but sucessful one and Cameron as the pretty but pretty much stupid & useless one.

I don't want to get into all the details but it was a great movie about finding oneself, finding love and finding purpose in life. McLaine was great as the long-lost grandmother and let's face it - Mark Feurstein is a cutie and a great actor too.

but the reviews were iffy, so I didn't see it.
