to let them sit in their entrance way because it would take away from their candy sales but they let girlscouts sell the cookies... the candy bar sales are for her trip to Washington DC in April

1. I'll be happy to "buy" some
I'll send a $5 donation, but someone else has to eat the candy bars for me. PM me with an address.

4. Our Walmart refuses the GS here but
allowed church groups to set up booths. They even refused to let our troop set up a box for donations to the local animal shelter. I hate Walmart.

Walmart refuses to allow Girl Scout cookie sales, but allow churches to have bake sales in the parking lot. At least we have a great local grocery chain (Schnuks) that works with the Girl Scouts every year.

9. Country Mart here works with them.
We also have a locally owned store that gladly works with us. Another reason I refuse to buy my groceries at Walmart.

6. Our organization just learned
that Wal-Mart will be giving us $1200 in cash and merchendise. I'm not a big Wal-Mart fan, but our committee voted that we try for a grant. So for today, I'm not going to complain

But you have to give the chocolate to someone else... My love affair with chocolate covered espresso beans is bad enough for me!

I think it is sooo important for her to see our nation's capital before we become anymore extreme and the dictator screws up anything else.
