Though in truth, I think the answer is "for the writers to consider this, or any number of other obvious issues, would burden the show with so much 'stuff' that it wouldn't be fun".

And that's okay!

But still, ya gotta wonder why the Bronze continues to have stuff happen, if it gets half-ruined every couple weeks. Or else they have a cover charge that would make Studio 54 seem like a freebie.

Kind of like how one has to wonder why people continued to invite Jessica Fletcher to their homes.
