My Buddy List and a special DU Anniversary :cry:

I really never looked much at the Buddy List but with the new "My DU" I can see mine everytime I click on it.

And right there in the middle of it (well, only like 15 names) is Khephra. Hell, I can't even remove his phone number from my cell phone.

And btw, it was four years ago on the 16th that Ramsey and I hosted the first DU major blowout EVER - the 2002 Philly Bash at Dave & Busters. We had like 80 folks show up for the event. And that was the first time I met Khephra (well first time I met a host of people but everyone else is still with us, well except Birdman, he's passed away too)

I never met Khephra, but not a day goes by here that I don't see the symbol he used on someone's sig.

I've heard it said that those who live on in our minds and hearts never really leave us. Here's to Khephra and many other DU'ers who live on inside of each of us.

Whenever I was his name on a post, I would immediately read it. I never met him either, but he had an enormous impact on me, and he is one of the primary reasons I finally stopped lurking and joined DU.

It's times like today Lynne, that you really have to cherish those memories of meeting all those people, including Kef. For a brief, shining moment, you were lucky enough to be Kef's friend. Be proud of that. Look back and be happy for the experience of knowing Kef, Birdman, and all the other DUers you have met.
