Poll question: Change.
As a general rule, NOT any change in particular. I HATE it, and I suspect many men are the same way. Look at mens' fashions, and haircuts.

Certainly, the military hates change, because it makes their toys obsolete, and the military was traditionally a male province, till recently.

As in :

http://www.redgreen.com/index.cfm

"I'm a man,
but I can change
If I have to
I guess...

Now, look at womens' fashions, and hairstyles (check out some fifties photographs, for a hoot).

Anywho, I wonder how D.U. is on this.

1. Male, hate change.
I know this will sound petty, but on the subject of fashion, I fucking HATE seeing baseball caps worn sideways / off-center. I hate long shorts, baggy pants, ski caps worn in the summer, etc.

3. Humanity is conditioned to love stability, permanence
when we have everything going our way (healthy, wealthy, loved, Bush's poll numbers in the toilet), we only wish to keep it this way. We want to remain happy, and avoid suffering. This translates into change = suffering.

Everything is impermanent, everything changes. We are conditioned to seek permanency. I look at our resistance to change in through this framework.

6. Change takes some getting use to.
But eventually, I feel I handle it pretty well.

8. A little bit of change can spice up life.
I used to be very blonde now I'm a redhead. I think I get more attention with red hair so I vote for some change when needed.
