13. I doubt I can say it right,
so I'll keep my head down and my mouth shut.

Now I'm getting all intimidated 'n' shit.

5. You don't like McSorley's?
I go solely for Joseph Mitchell nostalgia.

But I've only been there in the late afternoon/early evening. I can imagine it getting quite obnoxified later in the evening.

Thanks for the tip on the Goya. I've seen what the Prado has, but have read good things about the last days.

often. i remember for years it always had a really long drunken line of frat boys. so i hadn't bothered in years.
it may be different these days for all i know.

11. Probably not.
I am willing to take suggestions from natives.

Last time I had a blast at the Beauty Bar, chatting up the DeeJay. She was playing all this second string glam rock stuff that I thought only I owned. Punctured my solipsism, quick fast in a hurry.

19. omigosh, theres been a big glam rock
revival thing going on for a while now. i have a lot of serious vinyl head friends/ DJs and my town has always been snobby indie rock central. it's like portland on the hudson.
it kinda mostly goes over my head to be honest. i'll have to ask some dj friends for suggestions. i'm more or less a tag a long er.

Mostly in it for a good time.

Regardless, thanks for the consideration.

22. yeah, everybody's got this eclectic thing going...
and why the hell not. i'm sick of the age of specialization.
i meant to ask, did you catch the sopranos last week... i dunno if you watch it, but they played this eighties burroghs thing that made my jaw drop. had totally forgot about it for many years. funny song.
the thing about egyptian mythology and the different souls? it was one of those clubby songs that always sounded like a soundtrack anyway... it was very creepy but amusing used as the intro music to the episode. i always admire that about the show.
running now. bye!

8. I saw that one in Madrid.
His Ida Lupino is pretty good too:

Though I would certainly prefer to see Ida Kavafian in that pose.

14. They probably need a couple spins in the tumble dryer to
kill the dustmites and Maja buttmites.

But comfy, yes. Especially the dirty ones.

16. Your reference is redundant--my mind is always in the gutter
It's acting as a placeholder for my future English majored corpse. :D

On edit: Obviously edited to correct obvious typo.

23. Oh don't worry, we'll do something Saturday night
But it may lean more towards hotel party or something like that.

There's a couple of us staying at the Stanford this time. The other hotel was booked and the Stanford was a decent little hotel although it would have been nice to have some sort of Coffee Pot in the room :grr:
