This is pitiful...
My daughter's home from college for break. She's updating her Facebook account and IM'ing me. I'm 6 feet from her.

Pathetic!

:)

2. My wife ICQs me from our bedroom to the living room and vice versa.
"Pathetic" is a great word for it, but I love her enough to overlook it :)

3. She just IM'd me
Edited on Sat Mar-18-06 10:06 PM by lizziegrace
She found the remote to the TV...

In this small house, a remote's about as useful as the one in your friend's car!

11. One morning I was too tired to ask my little brother something ...
I could have walked into his room - but I called him on his cell phone instead . I can't believe I was that lazy . I called and asked him to order us a pizza when I could have done it myself . I think I partied a bit too much the night before :hide:

12. That's fun!
Back in the days when we found it hard to talk to each other face-to-face, Mom and I would write notes to each other in a notebook. I later learned that she and her Mom did the same thing when she was a teen. It was great, because it took a lot of the emotional baggage out of the communication.

And how cool is it that she WANTS to IM you!?! :)

14. I AM lucky.
That, and her boyfriend's not online right now!

It's been fun catching up with her today. I'm still amazed she's my daughter. I'm so very blessed.

16. It's better than intercom.
Not that you need an intercom at only 6 feet but it's fun when my house mate does it from her bedroom to mine. :)
