Poll question: Japan vs Cuba for the WBC Championship. Who will win it?

Two different styles of play. Both teams with seasoned major leaguers in their lineups.

I'm picking Japan to win it, but my heart is with Cuba for some reason.

love sports...hate baseball. Like watching snails copulate.

With that said, if Cuba wins....it'll be fun watching the freeptards heads explode.

2. Having played baseball well at some point in my life,

what I saw from Cuba was overly impressive. Now, Japan really, really impressed me tonight. Cuba, again, is sentimental for me as well (mainly because it's interesting to watch a team I know SO little about); however, I just think with the fact they've all ready been in their season and are playing now and the losses in the tourney seemed to straighten them out, I just see them winning.

But, please be sure to not panic and bring a towel should Cuba win, because I agree that many will be upset about a commie pinko nation winning it and the proof that baseball is librul because of it and their head might explode. :eyes:

but I don't care. Now, I love baseball, but I don't like the WBC. Next time they have to revamp some things, like the crazy tiebreakers, and the time.
Oh, and Cuba is going to win, because it is the playoffs now in the Cuban League.

9. Cuba

Cuba winning the WBC will be as big as the USA winning the gold in hockey in 1980. The team of amateurs beating teams with professionals. When Cuba wins it, look for Bush to pressure Bud Selig to either stop inviting Cuba or stop the WBC altogether.
