Did you vote for Bush??

I had an interesting conversation with my brother, a avid republican. He's totally disgusted with AWOLbush but what's interesting is he's asking other if they "voted for Bush". He's been asking his republican friends and others but so far, nobody's admitting they voted for bush..

I think we should all start asking our fellow Americans while at work or play, "DID YOU VOTE FOR BUSH"??

I sure as hell didn't vote for him. I'm of average intelligence, so that may explain it.

No one will admit that they voted for Bush. However, my mother admits it and has started apologizing for it now. Diebold must have had some really good software!

As well as my family ... except for harleydad and the kids. Most of them regret it. (Well, the ones who still speak to me.)

I saw a Bush/Cheney bumper sticker a few days ago. I guess some people are still dumb enough to brag about it.

And I have to admit, that it changed the way that I viewed him... voted for Bush because he "couldn't stand Kerry." The situation was wrong to really harp on him or ask about why he couldn't vote for Kerry, but... it definitely changed my opinion of him. Is that sad?

can't help it, it's deeply personal to me.

"I just couldn't stand Kerry" so said the Norwich, CT librarian who told me she is a registered DEM but voted for Bush because of Kerry. interesting how some non political personality quirk or issue can sway a vote one way or the other. The swiftboat stuff had lots to do with it for the ones I have talked. From these same people I heard something about "traitor" or "turned against his fellow troops" or some other swiftboat induced comment, usually vague. :shrug:

My only comfort these days is knowing that I voted in NY, which eventually went to Gore, so I like to tell myself that my vote didn't actually have any effect.

I haven't voted for a Republican in a general election since. I am still registered, though, and I try to get moderates on the ballot via primaries.

2000 presidential - nope.

2003 CA recall election - nope.

2004 presidential - nope.

2005 CA "special" election - nope.

He is the last person I would ever vote for.

Voted against Bush I twice. Voted against Bush II twice for Governor and twice for president.

I should move to FL so I can vote against Jeb, too.

Sadly, I doubt it.

And yes, I know many who did vote for Bush and only one DOESN'T regret it.

I was young and still thought my father knew everything about everything. I also had no involvement in politics whatsoever and didn't realize the implications. I became politically aware about 12 years ago and have been on the right side ever since.

and I'm sad to say that I saw a B/C sticker and a Wastika. Granted, that was a total of 2 cars, but I was dismayed to see even that many.

I haven't talked to a single person who's admitted it since I moved to Los Angeles, but apparently there are still people in Huskerville who are proud of having voted for *.

Thankfully, he has seen the error of his ways. He voted for Kerry in '04 and has vowed to NEVER vote for another rethuglican again!

Hell no! Some in my extended family voted for the asshole, but only a couple remain committed.

I have voted in every presidential election since 1984 and have never voted for a Republican.

I did in 2000 and am very ashamed. :hide: I started becoming politically aware during December 2003 and voted for Kerry in '04. A very depressing night that was in '04.

In all those polls last fall about who was the best college football player, Bush, Leinart, or Vince Young. Naturally I voted for Bush.
