3. Thanks! Went chasing to find it when the sun came out

The sun was so strong and it was so black to the east. Jumped in my car and went out on a country farm road to take some pix. The rainbow didn't last long.

Now, we have some wicked clouds coming in...hoping for a T-storm! :woohoo:

No hail here today...lots of wind, rain, and now something new moving in.

How big was the hail? Did it last very long?

People around here absolutely don't know how to drive when it hails here.

Last week when it hailed, my son called me while he was on the road. He had slowed down to about 20 mph, and was watching popele skid all over. While we were chatting, he stopped and asked one woman if she was OK. She was...just couldn't talk and looked very freaked out.

Was tempted to drive east for about 20 miles and follow the storm, but figured it might not be a good idea. The sky got really dark to the east really fast.

Took a close up of this cloud formation...it was spooky
