Using up to three words, describe these decades
The decades are the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s so far.

Here are my descriptions:

50s - innocent yet conformist

60s - turbulent and transforming

70s - bad fashion (otherwise nondescript except for Nixon's impeachment and economic troubles)

80s - la la land

90s - prosperous

00s (so far) - scary!

50's - Jazz got good

60's - Rock got good

70's - Rock even better!

80's - Yuppies, dirty Yuppies!

90's - Rock found itself

00's - Rock lost itself

3. True but you gotta dig for it
And most terrestrial radio stations are just pure crap, whereas I remember in the 70's there being some good FM

50s - start of rock

60s - best rock

70s - too much disco (I like some of it, but still)

80s - synthesizer was big

90s - teen pop ruled

00s - hip hop era

80s - Naive, Fearful, Greedy
90s - Naive, Fearful, Guilt-ridden
00s - Naive, Fearful, Unstable

Look how it applies to the Baby boomers

Approximately Age 5 through 15: The Overconfidence of Youth
Approximately Age 15 through 25: Transforming. Adolesecnce, Puberty, becoming an adult.
Approximately Age 25 through 35: Adult, but not mature.
Approximately Age 35 through 45: Worried about the future. Where's my flying car?
Approximately Age 45 through 55: Guilty about everyone they stepped on to get their flying car.
Approximately Age 55 through 65: Now where'd I put my wallet...

50s--World=our oyster

60s--Blue Oyster Cult

70s--Whatever you do, don't eat the f'n oysters.

80s--Oysters? F'em. Just give me the PEARLS!

90s--Oysters? Who can afford oysters?

00s--The world is China's oyster, and our oysters are outsourced. Oyster lovers: Be VERY afraid. Terra, terra, terra!


OOPS, I broke the 3 word limit, sorry. I guess I got carried away on my whole oyster extravaganza.
