Play DU Casting Director! Which actors should play...
...politicians and other figures in recent and current events?

For example, I heard tonight that Susan Sarandon...



...is planning to play Cindy Sheehan in an upcoming movie.



And as far as I'm concerned, Paul Giamatti has dibs on playing Paul Wellstone, beard or no beard!





And of course we had a thread on casting the Valerie Plame and Joe Wilson Story.

But pick a few other figures and appropriate actors. Serious suggestions, please, and let the imagination go to work.

1. Felicity Hoffman should play Cindy Sheehan.
Seems like a versatile actress, plus she looks closer to Cindy than Susan Sarandon.

You know, I didn't think of her off the bat, but you're right. That's an inspired bit of casting.



I also like the idea of casting Amy Madigan, a good progressive and the spouse of Ed Harris.

Paul Giamatti for Wellstone... I think they could find someone better.
