.... makes me wanna dance and sing to it, which I both can't. For one I am at work, so it would look kinda strange. And I am not able to keep a rhythm or tone. So I rather not embarrass myself or others by trying in public :)

It looks stupid, but no one will know. ;)

if I sing I sing in private. Like when I drive my car. It might look stupid from the outside, but at least no one hears :)

I know what you mean about dancing like that at work. I've done that before, not thinking anyone is watching, and then hear someone snicker...it's embarassing.

Which means I was completely oblivious to the awful fashion. Some of the music kicks ass though :)

Skinny leggings and pegleg jeans.

Pegleg jeans can make even slender girls look hippy. Skinny leggings are just plain wrong. I wore the fashions 20+ years ago, and I don't have to wear them now! :D

And and bright pink in men's clothing. I can hardly find a decent shirt anymore :P

She had to show off her brand new shirt to everyone.

The only good thing about 80's styles coming back is that once again I will be able to style my hair w/o any trouble. Frizzy hair went a long way in the 80's!

I was so happy when flat straight hair became stylish. That was my biggest fashion problem in the 80s.

that frizzes every chance it gets. Right now I spend about 40 minutes a day straightening it so that it is presentable. If 80's hair comes back I just have to stock up on hairspray! 5 minutes and I'm done!

and at Children's Place they had jackets that looked suspiciously like Member's Only jackets.

The blonde guy is btw the main head behind the German vesion of American Idol. He was omnipresent over the last years on TV and everybody is sick of seein or hearing (he has a horrible voice) him these days.

I HATED when he was always on TV . He did those damn commercials for Buttermilch when I was there too . Ewwww I hated when " Deutschland Sucht Den Superstar " came out because it gave him a reason to croak .

Sometimes I watch it when I need a really good laugh.

Back in the day when I was a mad DJ, still spinning vinyl. Lots of cool intersing, very good music, still fresh and not overplayed all to hell. Played everything from Ramones and the Clash to Michael Jackson, whose Off the Wall albumn I loved. When Thriller came out, I actually bought a copy of it and played it once. Never again for at least a decade because they over exposed it so badly.

Oh yeah, good times, good times, back when the AOR format was still king, and radios weren't all merged. There were still very distinct regional differences in the music played, not this Clear Channel pabulum that is the same everywhere.
