my cousin passed away
Got a call from his brother last night. No one had seen or heard from him in 10 years. We all thought he had done the Leaving Las Vegas thing a long time ago. I guess it just took him longer than Nicholas Cage's character did. The nurse my cousin talked to said he looked a hundred years old even though he was only 56. Almost everyone on my dad's side of the family are/were alcoholics.

1. I'm so sorry, seemunkee
I know you hadn't seen him in a while, but that only adds to the tragedy. It's sad what addiction can do to our lives.

My thoughts and prayers are w/ you.
