Should I buy beer tonight?
Edited on Fri Mar-24-06 04:51 PM by Squatch
Seems like a simple question, no?

Cons:
Calories
Flatulence
Reduced motor skills
Increased trips to the WC

Pros:
Tastes good
Feels good
Effective thirst quencher
Helps brewery workers stay in business

So, as you can see...it's a pretty even split between pros and cons, so I'm going to need a little more help before I make a decision.

unless there is a really good reason not to! Like, you're allergic to it or the money you're spending was for baby formula, you know, something like that.:)

edited because I'm drinking wine and all the words looked good the first time around.

7. HMMMMM
Lets see:

Friday Night.

Baseball starts soon.

Nicer Weather right around the corner.

Bush's ratings are in the toilet.

You worked hard all week.

Feels good.

Tastes good.

I say do it. Relax and toss back a few cold ones, life is short, you are alive and...you deserve it.

8. You should buy beer EVERY night
Unless you buy it by the case. Then every few days is okay.

12. You even have to ask this question?
Of course the answer is yes. Have a higher quality microbrew and enjoy it.

14. I went with the prevailing popular opinion and bought 4 bottles of
Aventinus.

Now, I'm three sheets to the wind after only 2. (I cut out about 99% of my drinking habits a few months ago)

So, in summary: the ends did, in fact, justify opting for the positive. The subsequent purchase and enjoyment of beer was the proper decision.

15. How is this a real question? What day is it? Of course you should buy beer
Come on man!

Let's break this down:

Cons:
Calories--Meh, big whoop. Eat a lighter dinner/breakfast. Go for a walk tomorrow.
Flatulance--You're at home aren't you? I'd wager anybody there with you has come to accept this by now, as you have theirs.
Reduced motor skills--You're at home aren't you? How fine do your motor skills have to be for sitting around, watching tv, listening to music or posting here? Exactly.
Increased trips to the WC-- It's going to happen. May as well be because of delicious beer.

Pros:
Tastes good--Yes. Yes it does.
Feels good--Yes. Yes it does.
Effective thirst quencher--Yes. Yes it is.
Helps brewery workers stay in business--My town thanks you for your support.

So what the fock, get some already. :toast:
