3. Once I move out to California

I wish to find a way to work from home, and one of the things I am considering is doing the Mobile Notary Public thing. And I think it would behoove me to learn Spanish for this.

5. Knowing Spanish in California

is *always* a good idea! I don't really need it for my job, but I'm getting sick of feeling like the stupid American who only knows English.

I took 6 years of Spanish in high school/college, but it all leaked out of my ear or something. x(

6. I took two years of it in HS but that was more than 20 years ago

I can ask for a beer, and ask where the bathroom is. Thus is the extent of my remembered espanol.

I just had Learn German in your car. Yeah, they thought I had a cd player in my car. It was for my daughter to brush up before her trip. It's probably a dozen discs. I'm sure there would be a Spanish one available.

I learned all the Spanish I know from that show.
Of course, my skills are limited to counting from 1-10, and saying "agua!" and "amigo!"
