6. I'm not sure exactly what you're talking about, but...

when I talk to someone who always focuses on him/herself, I leave the conversation feeling drained and worn out. It feels as though the energy is being sucked out of me. (I have a friend like this, and I've started thinking of her as an energy vampire. It doesn't make me want to spend time with her.)

Is this what you mean?

7. That's what I think of - someone who is completely self-absorbed

instead of someone who is just introverted, quiet and doesn't like being around people that much.

The energy vampires really just suck the life out of you - you can almost hear it leaving your body!
