So who else saw "Inside Man" [INSIDE MAN SPOILER ALERT]
Edited on Sat Mar-25-06 09:01 PM by the dogfish
Inside Man spoiler alert ahead...

Did you notice towards the end of the movie when Denzel's in Case's office showing him that he knows that he's built his empire on the money/assets he helped steal from Jews during the holocaust? There was a photo behind Case's head, rather prominently displayed, that I assumed was supposed to be of him and his family... resembled Bush Sr., the Big Blue Dress and possibly Bush Jr. Striking resemblance since the guy turned out to be a war profiteer from the holocaust.

The woman in the photo looked like Barbara Bush complete with white hair and big blue dress.

1. Yes I noticed. And I agree; it sure looked like Barbara Bush. My
guess would be that Spike Lee did that on purpose. And since it is a well known fact that part of the Bush family fortune derives from trading with the Nazi's you can understand his motivation.

You don't say what you thought of the movie overall. I just got home and I thought it was great. All I can say is WOW!! Do you agree?

:applause:

Peace,

2. I thought it was okay.
I think that too many movies try to please everyone and as a result are just mush... for example, I was enjoying the suspense of wondering why the bank was being "robbed" but that was broken by the exchange of goofy one-liners between Denzel Washington and Clive Owen on the steps at the front of the bank.

I just find it annoying.

3. I didn't notice that.
I'll have to keep an eye open next time I see it. Pretty good movie.
