1. Sadly, I know that a man who can't cook in the kitchen
may very well be useless in bed too. Sigh.

77. My father was great cook, real scientist,big.....Is there some connection?.
Who knows, maybe there is. Pop was also a great fighter and never hesitated to take whom ever on. I love my father and dearly miss him. I am a lucky man to have had such a father. He worked on the space missions and would go into any bar and take any guy on. WWII VET and all that. Not your usual scientist. My mother did get a bit upset with him now and again as I recall. He was my dad and used to bring me , and only me , into the bars with him. I was his first son, there were two others and two sisters. God I miss him. ...Oscar

Actually, I've never had crepe suzette, and I've never been into whips etc.

But I did have one lover move me beyond life on this earth one morning at around 5 AM... she woke me by whispering in my ear... "I know it's early but I'd really like to *blank blank blank* . . . ."

By about 8 she was making me crepes for breakfast..... not with her anymore, but that is a good memory.

 Enjoy your evening filling in the blanks. ;)

Edit: "vanilla" doesn't refer to an ingredient in the crepes. You know what I mean. Vanilla can be very, veeerrrry nice.

He wants me to learn how to cook (to be fair, take turns cooking since he's now the one that has a job and I've got one more class for my degree and still have to do a resume). But he doesn't even have a cookbook and yet everything comes out really well!

I burnt garlic when he was trying to teach me how to cook one time. Right now I'm doing simple meals like pasta and simple sauces for it... from the cookbook :-(. He lives in England and I'm in Boston at the moment.

Come on! I want to finish!!! :-(

114. I'm a total fool
for independent men who don't _need_ me, and ya know what? That works out just _great_, since I think being "needed" is for mommies and babies, and not for partners. The only men who could possibly have aced CMW out are Leonard Cohen (who's 30 years older than me and has one foot in the grave) and Dwight Yoakam (any man who can produce a country album around a painting by the relatively unknown Swiss impressionist painter Hans Burkhardt piques my interest automatically).

*Faint.* I'm bissfully surrounded by beautiful, intelligent, capable and independent men. Whatta life.

116. I had a naughty dream about Leonard Cohen
a couple of years ago, and CMW still teases me about it. L. Cohen and I were kissing in a hotel elevator, and then I noticed he was about five inches shorter than me. :eyes: CMW says, "Seduced any short guys lately?" :spray:

I'm buttah for L. Cohen.

118. Them Fryolators can be real dangerous around bedding
Really, open flame and all that stuff should be confined to the kitchen. Oh, wait, you're making a play on the word cook. Oh, I get it. You didn't actually mean assembling a grill and boiling water and firing up the rice cooker on top of the comforter. You're talking about s-e-x. Ooooo, do I feel like an idiot. Not quite as much as the time the frying fat spilled all over both of us one night while I was whipping up some beer-batter onion rings in bed, though...
