When I got to the store yesterday, our District Manager was there for a surprise visit and was checking to see how things were being done. She LOVED the way the store looked and we only missed two small things on her little audit of our paperwork! So it was a very good visit! :bounce:

it ws embarrasing for me last night when he called. I didn't recognize the number and ask who is calling :blush: I explained it to him that I didn't recognize his voice since I am not too familiar with it yet. Actually if I thought through I should have known it could only be him. I barely hand out my home phone number.

because I expected him to sleep. He told me he would go to bed.

I was like "Who is this? Say your name so I know who I am talking to" Him: "It is me" Me: "I still don't know who 'me' is" He said his name in the end. I hope he wasn't too pissed.

but he has time problems. He starts new classes next Friday. So he rather wants me to come to London. He said he is paying for the trip.

I'm happy that the day is so good over there! :bounce: Getting lots of work done is so satisfying and always makes me feel good! I've never heard of Mr. Messiaen...I'm assuming he's a composer...

He died in 1992 (I think) and was the greatest composer of the 20th century (possibly even greatest musician too). Part of the modern French school :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

But still...I'd be afraid I'd make too many mistakes on the paper that mattered most because I didn't give it the attention it needed.

Always love those surprise visits from the supervisors. I'm glad I don't get them too often. It's not like mine like dragging themselves out of bed and coming in in the middle of the night or on the weekends. :thumbsup:

I'll be very glad when the weather warms up. There will be fewer and smaller loads as I'll be wearing lighter/shorter clothing and fewer layers. :bounce:

I had a wonderful drive yesterday. I left JJ's house around 9:30 and headed east. My favorite route takes me out over and under the ocean on the Cheesepeak Bay Bridge. I Loved It!

I think this is a preliminary journey for my long one later on. I will be gone 12 to 14 days. Frodo and I have never been apart this long. She was excited when she saw me packing because she loves to travel with me. She knew something was amiss because I didn't steal her favorite toys out of her cage for the trip. She wasn't a happy parrot when I kissed her and put her in for the day. I want to be sure we are both okay with a long period of separation before I leave her this summer.

I found your thread soon after checking into my room for the night. I was traveling through an area without motels and restaurants everywhere you look. It took me well over an hour to find a place after I decided to call it a day. Thank you and starting the thread looking for me. :loveya:
