Name a local restaurant that you wouldn't recommend to Satan or Fuckstick.
A place so bad that even that most evil of corrupt, immoral, contemptible shitpots - and here I speak of course of our president, not Satan - couldn't be steered there in the good conscience of the recommender.

What's the place in your town - or anywhere that you've been - that's so godawful bad that you would feel bad suggesting it to Fuckstick?

Personally, I can't think of any, but I think of some that I wouldn't recommend to Satan. I don't know the name of this one, but it was somewhere in Wisconsin. I was visiting my Mom once, and we were driving around and came across some place that, from the outside, looked promising; but inside was dirty and gross, and mostly, the food was truly godawful terrible. And I've been to a few other truly shitty places, but I never remember names or where they are, since, of course, I never went to them again.

I mean, there's the obvious places like Chi-Chis, TGIF, Sergios, Hard Rock Cafe, Dominos, Ruby Tuesdays, Applebees, Planet Hollywood, Crate and Barrel, Denny's, KFC, and on and on and on... but what do you have locally serving shit, as opposed to the national shit servers?

2. I can't think of anything locally
although if you wanted overhyped and overpriced mediocre food I can think of a few hundred places. Years and years ago, my family was driving in Gatlinburg to see the fall leaves. The town was jam packed, but lucky us, there was one restaurant that was half empty. The Old Smokey House. So in we went. We were so hungry that it took us a few minutes to realize that the food was simply horrible. The roast beef we ordered was nasty steak-um style meat, the mashed potatoes were gray with black streaks, and the vegetable soup was yellow water with a carrot slice and a few grains of corn floating in it. Hunger can only take you so far with a meal like that, so most of it remained uneaten. But somehow what we had eaten stayed with us all night, and I think we downed a bottle of Mallox between us.

3. Wouldn't Satan like great food?
Seems to me that Satan would always be up on all of the hip, new places. After all, most of the cool places are corrupt, immoral and contemptible. I should know, I've worked in enough of them. ;-)

4. Funny - was just thinking about starting a topic like this
I'd say the Collegeville Diner. It's one big grease pit.

5. Not exactly a Restraunt.
The dining hall at UWSP. The food is awful, and has lead to some nasty gastrointestinal reactions in some people I know.

6. Piñatas
The Mexican restaurant on the square we tried it once and that was enough. The portions were so small we left hungry, ordered Chilli Rellanos and they had scrambled eggs in them, I've never had a chilli rellano with scrambled egg, it was nasty nasty nasty, over priced, too small portion, I don't know why they're still open.

8. I think he meant Cracker Barrel
which I have been told serves food but having been there I can not confirm that. They DO have great rocking chairs on the front porch that you can sit in while you wait 30 MINUTES for a seat.

11. I believe you are correct. I have heard rumors that they serve
food, but I cannot confirm it. They do have a cute little store thing going on, however.

14. The Chester Diner.
A local eatery where I used to live in Chesterland, OH. Our server was obnoxious and crummy, and the food was sub-par. We were one of only two parties in the whole place, and she spent most of her time talking to a friend who came to visit.

Yes, we have a Bullwinkle themed restaurant in our tourist trap. I wouldn't be caught dead there.

17. Molina's Mexico City in Houston....
The food is actually just mediocre Tex Mex. Which is a crime in a city with so much excellent Tex Mex, fine upscale Mexican & amazing working-class Mexican.

But it's reportedly the favorite Mexican restaurant of the Bush family. Imagine seeing Ma & Pa Bush while eating? There's not enough tequila in Mexico...

(The Bushes also favor Otto's Barbecue. Again, only mediocre. But we've got lots of good barbecue in town.)
