I myself have to work this weekend, but I have Monday and Tuesday off, which will be nice. Today is going to be a good one though because this morning, Greekspeak and I get to meet AirmensMom and HarleyDad for breakfast! :bounce: As you know, they are moving to Tennessee today and are going to make a stop here in Tallahassee on the way up there! I can't wait to meet them! :woohoo: It will be my first "DU Meetup" ever!

There is a car wash service here in Tallahassee that comes to you and does all the work! They wash it inside and out and will even wax it if you want them to! They do a much better job than I ever could myself!

The stress level has GOT to be WAY less that way. It's going to be a wonderful time! Greekspeak and I are going to treat them to breakfast!

I am off Monday (holiday) and Tuesday afternoon (special Frankfurt holiday) and of course today and tomorrow. Long weekend - YAY. My plans? Not too exciting. Cleaning my apt, gorceries shopping, relaxing, watching the French Open. This evening I will meet with Brita downtown, there is a party going on because of the world cup. Different countries set up to play music and serve their dishes. And then there is a light show going on at 11pm where our skyline towers become a screen for pictures. I think that sounds really interesting and I want to see that.

I don't think I will take my camera with me. Maybe my small one. But I don't have a tripod for the Canon so I can't take pics at night.

22 hours/1,500 miles. :D

A friend of mine is helping me out. We made the same trip four years ago, though in reverse. The first time, we only stopped for gas, but this time, we'll probably stop overnight in New Mexico.

6AM. My two-month old son is up, so I am too...nothing like waking up to a gray rainy day. He is in his bouncer seat cooing away while I attempt to get the sand out of my eyes.

Cats in a Van - sequel to Snakes on a Plane? Combine those two and I think we'd have an Oscar winning movie. Another article on the gop convention possibly in Tampa. If we get it, I'm going to wait until they all get in the convention center and cover them up with the kudzu thread.

a person who pretty much likes staying in town. Guess I'm another "homebody." I'd rather spend my money on the house than traveling.
