Kids are Really Wierd- June 4th edition
I woke up really early this morning after a series of really odd dreams, so I wanted to take a nap this afternoon. I was in bed a few minutes and just starting to drift off when I hear my son say "Be quiet! Mama's sleeping!" How sweet, I thought, he's going to let me nap. I really ought to know better by now. :eyes:

A few minutes later, as I'm almost asleep again I hear him say in a joyful little voice "Mama! I've got something for you!" He then set a 6 foot inflatable whale pool toy next to me in bed and tried to tuck it under the bedspread.

Kids are really wierd.

1. Well, that is weird, my dear LeftyMom!
But children's imaginations are something else indeed....

Your son sounds very creative......

BTW, did you ever get any sleep?

:pals:

3. Sleep?

Sadly, last night was my one kid-free night of the week, so that's normally the night I catch up on sleep.

But I'm bigger so he scaled up.

5. I'm laughing so hard right now.
That is hilarious! Last week my nephew and I were playing and he told me to wait there and he'd be right back. I could see him on the other side of the dining room table and he was stripping naked. Then he came running back to attack me, yelling "Captain Under Pee-Pee!" He's 5! I told him that he had to at least put his Batman briefs back on. He initially refused, so I said "you have to wear them. Even if you wear them on your head." Wrong. He said "OK!" and ran off to get them. He came running around the corner with them on his head!

I was relieved to find out later in the week that there is a series of books about "Captian Underpants." At least he didn't totally create Captain Under Pee-Pee in his head!

9. My second son learned how to pee on the toilet from his mom...

I walked into the bathroom once and he jumped off the toilet
seat then took a piece of toilet paper and carefully wiped
the pee off his little acorn and put the paper in the toilet.

He wasn't nearly as fastidious with number 2.
