My poor mother was 37 and the hospital didn't have air conditioning yet....not THAT long ago.

I like to mess with the superstitious by mentioning:

My first, middle, and last names have 6 letters each.

I was born on the sixth day of the Six Day War, which took place in the so-called 'Holy Land'.

I was born on the sixth day of the week, during the sixth hour of the day.

And of course, it was the sixth month of the sixth decade of the century.

It's all superstition to me, but for what it's worth, the latest biblical scholarship reports that the number in question may have been mistransalated, and is actually 616. Which means we missed the party on June 1. ;-)
