You know how sometimes you scratch a dog and get his leg going?
Like you found a good spot and the dog would like to help you with the air-scratching?

Well, I found a spot on Plato (the cat who sleeps in the bathroom sink), and when we scratch it, he immediately starts working on his manucure.

What is THAT about?

5. All my cats do that
 especially the little black girl cat Evie, who usually follows with 2 or 3 Barrel Rolls of Happiness (TM). But the manucure thing is, well, odd. Cute, but odd. Odd in a cute sort of way. :D

9. It's not just grooming, it's his manucure
He starts working on his claws, chewing off the sheath and getting the claws all nice, shiny and *sharp*. It's pretty funny, really. And he always starts with his left "hand". :D
