Poll question: When you look for happiness, love and contentment . . . .
. . . Where do you look?

1. i can't really answer that
i don't look for happiness, love, or contentment

i look to go after some goal or interest and along the way i may share it w. loved ones as well as the new friends i meet who are more advanced in the hobby or interest

happiness, love, and contentment come when you're busy doing something else, i think a lot of people who complain of being unhappy would not be unhappy any more if they took up a new interest that took their attention away from being focused on the self, similarly, i think a lot of people who say they never meet anyone need to forget about fake ways of meeting people and just do the things they like to do and then they will inevitably meet like-minded people w.out plotting or trying

that make any sense?

if you have to "look" for happiness, that's kind of fake isn't it? i mean i could just take a pill or half a bottle of wine and be happy for the next several hours w.out any effort so people who are always seeking happiness instead of being more goal oriented, seems like they'd end as addicts after awhile ?

2. I do look inside myself, my dear Floog....
But the best way to find those desirable things is to NOT look for them...

But to get busy living your life.....

Sorry.....I'm finding myself short on the philosophical ideas tonight...

4. I don't know.
Sometimes I feel happy and content just by myself, and sometimes I need others to validate that. Love, on the other hand...well, self-love can only go so far. ;)

Now, however, I am not searching for happiness or contentment, but am endeavouring to get all my work done...doesn't leave much time for anything else. :(
