My cat finally caught the little red dot from my laser pointer.

Lucky's been trying to catch it for years, but I never thought he'd do it. After catching it, he played with it for a few minutes before leaving its carcass on my front stoop.

The thing is, I can't figure out if I should take back my laser pointer for a refund or just replace the batteries.

When I stop shining it, they continue to look for the dot for hours
