1. Most milk in the US has an expiration almost 2 weeks after it was produced
Which is why I throw mine out several days before the date, although I try to use it all up if I can. I have a thing about only drinking fresh milk.

At $5 for 2 litres of goat milk, I make sure it's used before it goes off! ;-)

8. with 5 kids
and a non stop coffee drinker(very light and sweet), there is never enough milk in the house. I throw it away when it's empty.
