Somebody set fire to my neighbor's house!
Two doors down from mine, late Monday night, and I never heard a thing. It's completely destroyed. There was a twenty year old kid inside, but he got out, thank goodness. :scared: They live a street over, but their backyard butts up to a house right by mine. There were two arsons in one night. Nice, safe small town, eh? I'm checking my smoke detectors!

4. I don't know.
His parents had recently divorced, and I guess he was hanging out with a "bad crowd" of kids. Who knows?

6. Thanks. As awful as it sounds, I hope it was a targeted arson.
The thought of it being random is just too scary.

12. Don't worry, it makes perfect sense.
If it was random, there may be others to come (bad). If it was targeted, it was almost certainly the only one (good).

I'm glad the kid got out and is safe. What on earth possesses people to do things that are just....so....wrong. Something like that goes beyond stupid.

10. That's scary!!
When I was a little girl, one week my family and I were all gone from our house, someone set our house on fire. We were lucky in that our bedrooms were somehow spared- we didn't lose everything. I'm so scared of fire today because of it. :scared:
