There was a porcupine on the loose in our neighborhood today!
I've never seen one outside of a zoo. Big sucker!

Not in front of me anymore... :grr: but I know he still does because they "chew on cabins" or so he says.

One time we went out to a cabin in the winter with another couple. Janice and I were getting ready to make a meal when BANG and this thing dropped right by the window. Dead Porky-Pine....

They ARE bothersome around my own home too though. My dog got quilled 3 summers out of his 6 years (dumby) And our dog before him got it once. You really can't humanely pull them out yourself either, it usually requires a vet visit. But that's better the skunks. Don't get me started on them! ;-)
