Ick. Horrible Interview today.
Though I don't think that it was me. The person who I would replace didn't even pretend to be social, nice, or polite. I arrived in the office and she was in front and she said simply "Sit There and wait for me to come get you". OOOOkay... The only thing going through my mind was "What a Bitch". She came and got me without any eye contact and proceeded to ask me questions that she was reading directly from a sheet obviously printed off of the internet. She asked the questions, again without eye contact and proceeded to write my answers down word for word. She then said at the interview that it would be two weeks before I would know if I made the cut for a second interview. If called back, I am not going to even bother. Not when she can just re-read the questions.

I am a very good actress. I can at least appear to give a fuck. Try it sometime, dearie.

1. What a drag...
Is the person you interviewed with getting promoted or leaving the company? She sounds like she has no people skills whatsoever.

2. I think that she is being promoted
If that is any indication of the kind of people who succeed there, than I do not want to deal with the place.

3. the woman you would replace had to interview you?
perhaps she didn't completely volunteer to be replaced?

sorry you had a lousy interview, but jeez. I can't completely blame the woman for not being thrilled about it.

6. Well, I blame her for letting Sannum see her displeasure,
if it was indeed caused by what you supposed. There are places and times when it's good to let our emotions get the best of us. Work isn't one of them.

5. They should be more careful about who gives interviews
I don't know what kind of position you were interviewing for, but not every position requires stellar social skills. Someone might be brilliant in their particuliar job, but not be good with talking to people. Although some companies want to integrate their other employees into the interview process, they should consider excusing some individuals if them interviewing would reflect negatively on the company.
There might be reasons why this individual might not want to participate in interviewing. As someone else suggested, perhaps it wasn't voluntary. Alternatively, even if it was voluntary, perhaps she has a lot of other things to worry about in making the transition to her new position that she considers interviewing potential candidates as a waste of her time and preventing her from getting into her other job.
