Ever make any deals with God?

I remember a friend talking about being on a high mountain pass in the snow, car dead, middle of the night. He waited for someone to pass by, and said he made a deal with God if he got picked up he'd never pass a hitch-hiker in inclement weather again.

I've never done that. Anyone else? :shrug:

But that was when I believed in god. These days I call on my ancestors. I think there's a better chance that they're listening.

Believe me, I was lucky to get out with the deal I got. (whispers) He's been known to do stuff to people (plagues of locust, boils, salty statues, that kinda shit).

I have no idea if he's gonna keep his word. Or her. I really didn't get a response back.
