Churchill's famous quote about the Royal Navy is now it's offcial recruiting motto. I just saw a comedian say this about the Royal Navy's drive to recruit from the gay community.

That and a lack of brushing his teeth contributed to his nasty mouth.
Still, "Rum, Sodomy, and the Lash" and "If I Should Fall from Grace with God" always sound great around St. Patrick's Day (and whenever).

12. that's what i was thinking!
i got all excited "great! the lounge is going to discuss pogues!" then I saw this thread, though i'm not disappointed, b/c it's a pretty weird topic.

We used to sing it loudly while hiking approaches on alpine climbs. it either made friends on the trail, of very bad enemies.
