6. Yep, he sure was. His impact on Western Civilization cannot be
overestimated. One of my favorite quotes about Shakespeare, and I forget who said it, is: "One of the really terrific things about Shakespeare is that he really is very good, in spite of all the people who say he really is very good!" :-)

I like that.
