baby wrestling.
How come y'all never warned me about this stage where they like to crawl away as soon as you get the diaper off? x(

1. Because it lasts for two years,
and we didn't want to scare you. My son is three, and he still throws a bloody fit, tries to flip over, and roll away when I change his diaper. It's like they never get used to it.

about when they figure how to get completely naked in the middle of the night and stay that way until morning?

9. That phase is fun.
I learned to put on their one piece PJs backwards so they couldn't unzip them themselves.

8. Ha Ha!
There's so much they never tell you. I switched to pull-ups even tho we're not officially potty training yet, because I can get them on him while he's trying to run away.

14. I like that idea.
I guess they don't make pull-ups for the 8-month set, do they?

17. Hmmm. Radchild managed to never put me through that phase. But then
she *was* a perfect child... not prone to the likes of pee catching and poo flinging.

And no subsequent fascination with said bodily functions later in life either.

She is more and more appreciated the more I hear these stories.

21. I always say that parents are blessed with the kids they can handle....
I couldn't have handled a wild one, that's for sure. My patience has definite limits... I envy parents who just roll with all this stuff! I don't have the ability to handle genuine stress and the high end roller coaster that parenting can get to sometimes!
